Annotation: Published citing "Emeorhiza Pohl", Flora 8(1): 183, 1825, nom. nud., and the validly published name Endlichera C. Presl, Symb. Bot. I 73, tab. 49, 1832. Emmeorhiza Pohl ex Endl. was thus an illegitimate superfluous name when published, but is now legitimate by its conservation at the Madrid Congress (2024) against Endlichera C. Presl, 1832, which was already a rejected name in favor of Endlicheria Nees, 1833. Further details in Kirkbride et al., Taxon 67: 215-216, 2018.
