Note: Cohen (2018): “Crescit cum praecedente [sic], [p. 90] An melius Anchusae species? [p. 91],” [Mexico], Real del Monte, s.d., [Herbier Humboldt & Bonpland] no. 4083 (type, P-670726 [IDC microfiche Hb. Humboldt & Bonpland 66/1] image!)' but the protologue indicate 'Crescit cum præcedente' and the previous species is indicated as from 'Crescit in Regno quitensi, inter Tiecsan [Tixan] et Alausi, alt. 1300 hex' this is clearly in Chimborazo Ecuador, but issue was not clarifies by Cohen.
