Plants perennial. Stem base usually fibrous. Leaves radical and cauline, 1-3-pinnate, glabrous or pubescent. Umbels lateral and terminal. Involucre of a few bracts or lacking. Involucel of 5-8 linear bractlets. Calyx teeth minute to obsolete. Fruit elliptic to oblong, ovoid or almost orbicular; subterete to dorsally compressed; ridges prominent to winged; furrows 2-4-vittate; commissure 6-8-vittate. Inner seed face plane to slightly concave.
