Annotation:
nom. cons.; N.B.: the name is *masculine* in gender (see Art. 62.4). However, Sands (2013) proposed to conserve this name with a feminine gender, which, if adopted, will force a change back to the feminine termination of all species and infraspecific names. This was recommended by the Nomenclature Committee for Vascular Plants, Applequist, Taxon 63(6): 1363 (2014). approved by a vote of the General Committee, and finally by the XIX Botanical Congress in Shenzhen China.
Nomenclature Reason:
nom. cons., as feminine.
