Map Location: A-7 Chitral: Dorah pass, 4200 m, Davidson s.n. (K); Yarkhun, moist stony laud facing north, flowers pale yellow, Bowes Lyon 992 (BM) ; Dorah pass, 3900 m, Giles A 201 (K); Dorah pass, Lutkho valley, N.W. of Chitral, 4200 m, on flat wind swept summit of pass, on small scree, petal appear to have been pale yellow, leaves grey-green, Stainton 3249 (BM) ; Chumarkhan pass, east of Mastuj, on open slopes, flowers white, Stainton 2914 (BM).

Perennial caespitose, (5-) 10-20 (-30) cm tall, erect to ascending or sub-spreading, densely pubescent with simple and branched hairs except the siliculae. Radical leaves densely rosulate, pinnatisect, 30-60 mm long, 5-12 mm broad, stalked; lobes short, narrowly oblong or linear; upper leaves distant, ± similar but smaller, shortly stalked to subsessile. Racemes 15-30-flowered, often bracteate below, lax and up to 10 (-15) cm long in fruit. Flowers c. 5 mm across, pale yellowish or whitish; pedicels 5-8 mm long in fruit, filiform, rigid, ascending to almost erect. Sepals 3-3.5 mm long. Petals 5-6 (-6.5) mm long, 3 mm broad. Stamens c. 2.5: 3.5 mm long; anthers c. 0.7 mm long. Fruits 6-8 mm long, 1.5-2 mm broad, ellipsoid, subterete, glabrous; valves convex, with a distinct mid-rib; style 0.5-1 mm long with depressed, subretuse stigma; septum obscurely 1-veined; seeds 4-5 in each locule, c. 1.5 mm long, ellipsoid-oblong.
