Notes
:
This species is characterized by its medium-sized leaves (for Manettia), extensively twining habit, calyx lobes 2-5 mm long and 4 or infrequently 6 per flower, and its salverform pink to white or pale green corollas with the tube 6-10 mm long and the lobes 2-4 mm. Manettia longipedicellata is similar to Manettia uniflora, and has sometimes been included within that species. Manettia longipedicellata may be a well marked local variant of that other species, but it differs from Manettia uniflora in its paler to often white corollas and flowers usually or always 4.
