Leaves opposite, petiolate, oblong–ovate or lanceolate, ± hairy, apex acute, margins dentate–serrate, capitula large on relatively thicker peduncles. Phyllaries ciliate at the margins. Corolla ca 3 mm long, tube glandular, limb densely hairy. Cypselas ca 3 mm long, glandular.
