Notes:

This species is characterized by elongated stems, small leaves, pedunculate inflorescences with several subcapitate flowers, white corollas 10-12 mm long, and medium-sized fruits that are reported to be red at maturity. Swartz reported this species came from Jamaica, but has not been reported from there by subsequent authors while it is known from various islandsin the Lesser Antilles. Chomelia fasciculata is generally similar to Chomelia polyantha and Chomelia delascioi

Distribution: Habitat not noted but probably seasonal scrub at lower elevations; Lesser Antilles, reported from Cuba but that report considered inaccurate by Borhidi et al. (2017).
