Leaves ciliate, usually glabrous adaxially, glabrous or sparsely to moderately pubescent abaxially with stalked or rarely subsessile, stellate trichomes rarely with finely branched rays; petiole glabrous. Racemes sessile or rarely on pecuncles to 5 mm. Fruit pubescent with stalked stellate trichomes. Fl. and fr. throughout the year.
Flowering: throughout the year.
Habitat: talus slopes, crevices of rock outcrops, páramo.
Elevation: 3600–4800 m.
Distribution: Venezuela (Mérida).
