Note:
See Callmander et al., Candollea 91: 34, 2024, for discussion of typification: Kirkbride (1997) was not able to locate material he considered original, and designated a neotype from Richard's herbarium. This specimen can is now known to be original material and can be considered a lectotype, but has not been relocated since Kirkbride's designation and is now considered lost. Accordingly Callmander & C.M.Taylor designated a new lectotype: French Guiana, sine loco, s.d., Richard s.n. [?] P [P03824095]
