Notes: This subgenus includes several species, and is found in the western Greater Antilles and Central America; in general its distribution is complementary to that of Hillia subg. Hillia. The species are apparently nocturnal and pollinated by hawkmoths, and the corollas are white and salverform with four lobes. See the discussion and key on the genus page for more information.
