Note: Moya [2018; Monteverdia 11(1): 47] sought to "lectotypify" this name based on a modern (1934) collection, but ICN Art. 7.8 requires that a name validated by reference to a previously published Latin description or diagnosis "be typified by an element selected from the entire context of the validating description or diagnosis" (and the Valenzuela specimen, cited as "tipo" by León, fits the bill)
