Distribution: Distribution: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kashmir, N.W. India, Turkistan, Pamir Alaj, Tien Shan.
Comment/Acknowledgements: The subsp. refracta which is found in S. Europe and the Middle East differs in the larger nutlets and the calyx which is strongly reflexed in fruit, the connate part being slightly longer than calyx lobes. The subsp. chitralica is recorded from 1700-2000 m.

Related to Myosotis stricta, but differing in the stronger more abundant uncinate hairs on the calyx and pedicels, which are somewhat reflexed in fruit.
