Basal leaves oblanceolate to obovate (including petiole), 40-100 x 7-12 mm, densely hairy on both surfaces. Cauline leaves smaller, sessile, Inflorescence usually terminal, lax. Pedicels 2-3 mm long, up to 6 mm in fruit. Calyx densely hairy; lobes 3-5 mm long, linear-oblong, Corolla blue to purple-blue, 9-12 mm long; tube cylindric, limb broad, lobes obtuse.
