Annual, 6-20 cm tall. Stem simple or branched, erect, glandular-pubescent, viscid. Leaves c. 25 mm long, linear-lanceolate, base sessile, pubescent. Bracts linear. Inflorescence dichasial. Calyx 8-12 mm, conical, glandular-pubescent especially along the nerves, teeth lanceolate, 15-20-nerved. Petals white-pink obovate-cuneate, limb entire. Coronal scales oblong. Carporphore c. 1 mm. Capsule c. 10 mm, oblong-conical, included in the calyx.
