Annual herb with decumbent to ascending or erect branched stems, leafy, 10-20 cm tall, densely glandular pubescent Leaves 10-30 x 2-3 mm, densely glandular, spathulate to oblanceolate, apex acute to subacute, sessile. Flowers axillary ± throughout the length of the stems. Bracts linear to lanceolate. Pedicels 5-6 mm, glandular pubescent. Calyx 11-14 mm, climate, constricted below the capsule in fruit, densely glandular; teeth lanceolate, subacute, ciliate; nerves fairly visible. Petals white, upper 2/3rd adnate, limb bilobed, 2-2.5 mm long. Claw 8-9 mm, slender. Coronal scales triangular. Carpophore c. 5 mm, glabrous. Capsule 9-10 mm, ovoid, ± included in the calyx. Seeds c. 0.8 mm long, reniform, minutely tubercled, back bread, brown.
