The Pandanaceae Project     

Pandanaceae are a family of arborescent or lianescent dioecious plants comprising five genera confined to the Paleotropics

 (Benstonea, Freycinetia, Martellidendron, Pandanus and Sararanga).

The Pandanaceae database aims to serve as the backbone for our developing understanding of the classification and taxonomy of these genera,

and for future systematic effort into this erstwhile neglected family throughout its range.
