Type-Protologue
Note: Lectotype designated by Turner, 2013, but subsequently Turner, Taxon 70(2): 407, 2021 stated that the lectotypification he now accepts was publ. by him in Eur. J. Taxon. 108: 5, 2015: W. Roxburgh s.n., Herb. Smith no 191.2, LINN, apparently the same specimen, without any discussion of why his earlier typification is to be rejected. Turner 2021 also noted that Deb & Rout had previously lectotypified this name on a drawing in CAL, and considered that unacceptable because "Smith cannot have seen this when describing the plant", though this claim may need further clarification or comparison with current rules about all related materials anywhere constituting syntypes
