Annotation: The identity of first author of combination, indicated simply as "R. Ram.," is difficult to ascertain. Presumably the abbreviation refers to the individual acknowledged on p. 1694 as "R. Ramírez-Delgadillo." IPNI mistakenly mistakenly uses "R. Delgado" in the species entry, though it includes one "Raymundo Ramírez Delgadillo 1963-2011" (with the poorly conceived standard form "R. Delgad.") among the author entries. TROPICOS, on the other hand, features a "Rafael Ramírez Delgadillo" (1963-) under the "People" category, possibly (though not certainly) with reference to the same individual. Whatever the case, "R. Ramírez" is the most reasonable standard form.
