Tall tree, up to 20 m. Leaves 4-12 cm long; pinnae 2-4 pairs, often terminating in a pinna. Leaflets 4-5 pairs, c. 1.2-1.9 cm long, c. 0.5-1.2 cm broad, elliptic-ovate. Axillary raceme c. 9 cm long. Flowers c. 1.9 cm wide, yellow, 1 petal with red spot; fragrant. Stamens 1.0-1.2 cm long, filaments hairy.
