Fuchsia hemsleyana Woodson et Seibert, Ann. Missouri Bot. Gard 24: 195 (1947). Holotipo: Panamá, Seibert 162 (MO!). Ilustr.: Breedlove, Univ. Calif. Publ. Bot. 53: 6, t. 13-14, 37 (1969).

Fuchsia pulchella Woodson et Seibert.

Hojas 2-3 × 0.6-1.2 cm, subcoriáceas, glabras o pelosas en los márgenes y nervaduras, los márgenes enteros a serrados; revolutos; pecíolo 4-15 mm. Tubo floral 7-11 mm en las flores bisexuales, 3.5-4.6 mm en flores pistiladas, peloso. 2 n =22. Bosques de neblina. CR ( Davidse et al. 1618, MO); P ( Averett et al. 1070, MO). 1300-3100 m.
