Note
|
This species, the type of which has not been examined, appears to be very closely related to P. caudulilimba. As described, it appears to differ in its glabrous plants and 5-nerved leaves. However, some leaves of P. caudulilimba may be 5- nerved with an obscure outer pair of lateral nerves, and the stems and leaves are sometimes nearly glabrous. It is possible that further study may show that this and P. caudulilimba are different forms of the same species.
