Distribution: Distribution: Gilgit, Baltistan and W. Tibet.
Comment/Acknowledgements: The species frequents high and dry areas and has a localised distribution. Occasionally the bracts may be slightly dentate at the apex such as observed in R.R. Stewart 20892 and E. Nasir & G.L. Webster’s 5861 from Baltistan.

A slender glandular-puberulous perennial. Lamina (4.5–) 7.6 (–12.5) x (7–) 15.3 (–20) mm, puberulous, reniform-cordate, sharply toothed, more or less membranous. Petiole up to 70 mm long, slender, puberulous-glandular. Scapes 1–15 in number, (25–) 79 (–95) mm long, glandulose; umbels 4–13-flowered. Bracts entire, (2.5–) 4.8 (–6) mm long. Pedicel (2–) 6 (–8) mm long, glandulose. Calyx (3–) 4 (–5) mm long, campanulate, glandular-puberulous; lobes 2–3 mm long, triangular-ovate. Corolla slightly exceeding the calyx length, limb c. 6.5 mm broad (in dried state); lobes retuse, (2.2–) 3–4 mm long. Ovary subglobose. Style less than 1 mm long, stigma capitate. Capsule subglobose, included in the calyx. Seeds 7–22 in number, 1.2–1.5 mm long, black to dark-brown.
