English Note: This name (1824), which was incorrectly (Vol. 1: 111) treated as a synonym of of the later Adiantum delectens (1834), has been proposed for rejection by Zimmer & Prado (1997) after verification that the type does indeed belong to the widespread and universally recognized A. deflectens.
