This sp. can be difficult to distinguish from
B. ramiflora
v.
ramiflora
. They overlap in the central part of Madagascar, but
B. perrieri
extends farther west.
B. perrieri
tends to have fewer flowers that are slightly larger than those of
B. ramiflora
. Additionally,
B. perrieri
lacks the distinct reticulation of the tertiary veins present along the margins of
B. ramiflora’s
leaves.
