Standard Note:
According to Sparre & Andersson (1991), this species is the result of ýspontaneous hybridization between #T. ferreyrae# and #T. ýminus# in the area around Lima. A long list of horticultural synonyms ý(not included here) was presented by Sparre & Andersson (1991)
