Subspecific Lantana trifolia fo. hirsuta Moldenke

Description This form differs from the typical form of the species in having its branches, branchlets, petioles, peduncles, and the upper portion of the stems spreading- hirsute or densely hirsute-pubescent, the trichomes longer than in the typical form. The leaf-blades are puberulent beneath.
Distribution The form occurs from Mexico and Cuba, through Central America and the West Indies, to Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru; also in the Hawaiian Islands and widely introduced in Indonesia, Hongkong, Ceylon, India, and Burma.
