Description
|
This form differs from the typical form of the species in having its branches, branchlets, petioles, peduncles, and the upper portion of the stems spreading- hirsute or densely hirsute-pubescent, the trichomes longer than in the typical form. The leaf-blades are puberulent beneath.

Distribution
|
The form occurs from Mexico and Cuba, through Central America and the West Indies, to Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru; also in the Hawaiian Islands and widely introduced in Indonesia, Hongkong, Ceylon, India, and Burma.
