Plants olive-green, greenish brown, or reddish brown. Stems sparingly branched. Leaves more or less lanceolate, strongly falcate; margins elimbate or weakly limbate at base, plane; costae percurrent; laminal cells smooth, usually pitted, elongate quadrate to rhombic.
