Ecology. Open Yungas and Tucuman-Bolivian montane extending into the humid and semi-humid puna; on trees (including Alnus acuminata). Elevation. 2430-3500 m. Distribution. Bolivia: Chuquisaca, La Paz, Potosí, Tarija. World range: North America, Bolivia, South Africa, north central Asia.
 
Ecología. Montano abierto de Yungas y Tucumano-boliviano extendiéndose en la puna húmeda y semi-húmeda; sobre árboles (incluyendo Alnus acuminata). Altitud. 2430-3500 m. Distribución. Bolivia: Chuquisaca, La Paz, Potosí y Tarija. Distribución mundial: Norte América, Bolivia, Sur África, centro norte de Asia.
 
Leptopterigynandrum subintegrum is characterized by the narrowly ovate-lanceolate leaves, julaceous foliate branches, and 2 cells long leaf apex.
 
Leptopterigynandrum subintegrum se caracteriza por tener las hojas angostamente ovado-lanceoladas, ramas con hojas juláceas y ápices de las hojas con 2 células de largo.
