Plants slender, rigid, brownish green, in dense mats. Stems creeping, irregularly pinnately branched, with straight branches. Stem leaves and branch leaves identical, loosely imbricate when dry, ovate or ovate-triangular, tapering gradually to a narrow point; margins entire, revolute at the base; costa double, up to the middle of leaf; median leaf cells rhomboidal to rounded oval; alar cells rounded quadrate or oblong. Sporophytes unknown.
