Little Known SpeciesThe following 3 species have been described by Blatter, of which I have not seen any authentic type material.
1. Erodium adenophorum Blatter in J. Bomb. Nat. Hist. Soc. 36:476.1933
Stipules ciliate, peduncle 2-3-flowered, bracts 2-3 with ciliate margin. Sepals 3-5 nerved.
Type: N. Waziristan: C-5 Khajuri Post, in gravel and sand, Blatter & Fernandez 368.
2. Erodium heterosepalum Blatter, l.c. 478.
Stipules ciliate. Pedicel dense retrohispid. Bracts 15, free. Sepals 3-5.
Type: N. Waziristan: C-5 E. of Miramshah fort, right bank of Chasma river, in sand between rocks, 3100, Blatter & Fernandez 201.
3. Erodium nanum Blatter, l.c. 476.
Stemless. Peduncle 2 flowered, bracts few, connate. Sepals 3-nerved.
Type: N. Waziristan: C-5 W. of Datta Khel Fort, gravel plains, Blatter & Fernandez 631.
