Notes:
Treated as Kigelianthe in Fl. Madagasc. (Perrier, 1938). One species has been mistakenly referred to the genus Rhodocolea with the epithet "schatzii" applied - this name is not validly published, and the material concerned should be included in Fernandoa (PBP & MC, 2024). Work towards a revision for the genus is well advanced, and the authors have decreased the estimated number of new species.
