Notes: The name Anisotes pulcherrimus Benoist was indicated handwritten by Benoist on two collections of what has now been described as A. perplexens - Perrier de la Bâthie 16151 and Humbert & Capuron 25721. The name was never validly published.
The monospecfic endemic genus Danguya was described by Benoist (1929) based on its calyx morphology and was accepted by Scotland & Vollesen (2000), it was transferred to Anisotes in 2019 by Daniel et al.).
