Notes
:
Including genera formerly separated as: Bombacaceae, Sterculiaceae & Tiliaceae. Material of the genus Abroma Jacquin (Malvaceae: Byttnerioideae) has been collected in Madagascar at Ivoloina and the Botanic Garden at Analamazaotra, although not stated it is assumed to be cultivated and there is no indication that it had become naturalized at either site. The material has been identified as A. denticulata Miq. (from Sumatra), but this species is generally treated as a synonym of A. augusta (L.) L.f.
