A slender diffuse perennial, 5-16 (-20) cm long, glabrous or subpilose-glandular, glaucous. Stem usually leafless, rarely 1-leaved, often developing a shoot in its axil, leaves similar to the above species but ultimate segments (lobules) narrow, 1-1.5 (-2) mm broad, oblong-linear. Racemes simple, hardly exceeding the radical leaves, lax few flowered (usually 3-10-fld.). Flowers 15-18 (-20) mm long, including spur about half as long, slender, straight or slightly downcurved. Sepals minute, denticulate. Upper petal with dorsal wing reaching up to the tip of the spur and slightly denticulate, margin slightly expanded and cristate to entire, acute or minutely acuminate; lower petal similarly winged, subsaccate at base. Capsule 7-9 mm long, 2.5 mm broad, oblong; style (3-) 4-5 mm long; curved at the apex with broad stigma; seeds 4-6, sub-biseriate, c. 1.5 mm in diam., shining, black.
