Notes:

Many of the specimens cited in Fl. Madagasc. belong to Seddera repens (Deroin, 2009). Cette espèce est réputée antidiarrhéique à Madagascar, d'après D'Alleizette. Ooststroom (loc.cit.) rapporte que cette plante est utilisée en Inde comme astringente, utile dans les hémorragies internes, elle est également fébrifuge et tonique par ses racines. Les feuilles peuvent être roulées en cigarettes et fumées dans les cas de bronchite chronique et d'asthme.(Fl. Madagascar p. 90)
