Contributor Text: DANIEL F. AUSTIN
Contributor Institution: Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida, USA
General/Distribution: Several authors (e.g. Clarke in Hook f., l.c. 196, R.R. Stewart l.c. 574) have included the species of this genus within Ipomoea. There is good basis for keeping these separate (Austin, l.c. 158.) Records indicate 4 species in Pakistan.
