Notes
:
This species is characterized by its elliptic-oblong to suborbicular leaves that may be emarginate and pilosulous along the principal veins abaxially but are glabrous adaxially, bilobed stipules, pedunculate shortly cymose inflorescences, subsessile pedicellate flowers, short calyx limb, and rather short yellow corollas. This species is documented from dry forest vegetation often on tsingy substrates. It is similar to Apomuria melanostichta, which differs in its longer white corollas.
